John Dawson

John has been elected a Partner in CMPR and has also been appointed head of the Intellectual Property practice. John works in the Wine Group advising clients on acquisitions, licensing, and protection of intellectual property rights. His experience extends to alcoholic beverage law and trademark litigation. John received his J.D. from Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.




John Loveman

John has joined CMPR as an Associate and works in the firm’s Litigation Group. He specializes in business and commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in all aspects of state and federal court litigation. John received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and was previously at Duane Morris LLP in San Francisco, focusing on complex business litigation.




Richard (Rick) O’Hare

Rick comes  to CMPR as an Associate and works in the firm’s Litigation Group. He has substantial experience in complex business litigation, intellectual property procurement and transactional matters. Rick received his J.D. from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific and has been in private practice in the North Bay area since 1998.
